Ink Exchange

The theme of the book is think before you act. Leslie got a tattoo thinking it would change her attitude. Now that Leslie got the tattoo she regrets it because she starts to get sick.

"Would you trade for her freedom?" Pg.247

The quote "Would you trade for her freedom?" is signifacant because Leslie is trapped in the Dark Kings house since she got the tattoo. Niall the summer kings guard is trying to rescue Leslie from the Dark Kings house, but ends up getting hurt by other guards. Leslie regrets getting the tattoo because now she knows the consequences.

Some connections between my book and my life is that the main character Leslie is that she lives with her dad and brother, and I live with my mom, grandma and my siblings.

Fragile Eternity

The book Fragile Eternity connects to the Twilight saga because the summer queen Aislinn needs to decide between the summer king and her boyfriend Seth. In the twilight saga Bella needs to choose between Edward the vampire and her best friend Jacob the werewolf.

The picture is signifacant to the quote   "She blinked to clear her vision, resisting the urge to try to focus on the shadows that seemed to be walking through the room unattached to anything" because the tattoo made Leslie sick.

Dear Diary,
           Today was a horrible day at school because Keenan the Summer King, transferred to O.C. Bishop. I feel scared because Keenan follows me every where. Have I mentioned that he's a faery. So thats why I'm scared and I can see him. I don't want to tell my grandma because she will start to go crazy and she won't let me go outside. Right after school I went straight to my friends Seth's house. He has always been a friend that I can go to. Have I mentioned that I have huge crush on him. I went home right after Seth's house.

This picture connects to the second book because it shows a person holding some type of ice. In the story it mentions a winter queen who is mean and has a terrible attitude. When she gets mad she blows ice and kills the people she works with. The winter queen has a son who is the Summer King. The Summer King is trying to find the Summer Queen. Once the king finds his queen then the winter queen will either die or she can be a good person and get along with summer queen. Eventually the winter queen will have to die because she doesn't want to accept the summer queen.
