Reading reflection By: Stephanie arroyo

I liked how the book goes through alot of flashbacks. Its always good because they can lead up to why the conflict happens. I noticed how the character has a hard time going back to school after the incident. Josie grew up with a lawyer as a mother. \Her mom would always be at work and if she wasn't she would always be doing paperwork. Josie learned to never lie when its a bad situation. The main conflict in the book was when Peter started shooting around the whole school. This conflict lead to other conflicts because Peter's lawyer wanted Josie to go to court.

19 Minutes Jodi Picoult By: Stephanie Arroyo Per#3

"Josie stood up and leaned against the counter, watching her mother cook." This quote is significant because it was an hour before she went to school. When Josie arrived at school everything was going good until lunch. During lunch her friend from sixth grade started shooting people. Her friend Peter was mad because she has been ignoring him and being rude to him. I think that Peter will kill Josie's boyfriend.

The Tenth Cirlcle

The main character name is Trixie Stone. When Trixie goes to school she feels sick because she goes to her class and see's her ex boyfriend. Since she felt sick she went to the bathroom and when she got there she just started to cut herself. She felt the knife slicing her wrist and she wanted to cry, but she didn't want to cry. The story takes place December 23,2005. This is important because this is when Trixie gets lost for the first time.

Stephanie arroyo Per#3 Teen Idol

The book that I read was Teen Idol by Meg Cabot. The part that I liked about the book was when a movie star joined Jenny Greenly's High School. The movie star name was Luke Striker. Luke Striker had to join the school because he had to experience high school for a movie that he was going to star in. I would like to read a mystery book. The genre of my book is teen fiction.

"She blinked to clear her vision, resisting the urge to try to focus on the shadows that seemed to be walking through the room unattached"

The quote "She blinked to clear her vision, resisting the urge to try to focus on the shadows that seemed to be walking through the room unattached to anything" is significant because after she got her tattoo she started to see things and she thought she was going crazy

Ink Exchange

The theme of the book is think before you act. Leslie got a tattoo thinking it would change her attitude. Now that Leslie got the tattoo she regrets it because she starts to get sick.

"Would you trade for her freedom?" Pg.247

The quote "Would you trade for her freedom?" is signifacant because Leslie is trapped in the Dark Kings house since she got the tattoo. Niall the summer kings guard is trying to rescue Leslie from the Dark Kings house, but ends up getting hurt by other guards. Leslie regrets getting the tattoo because now she knows the consequences.
